The 66-acre site, designated as Project CityCenter, will be developed over time into a master-planned urban complex defined by a variety of avenues, places and experiences. As envisioned, Project CityCenter represents the most significant privately funded project in the United States at this time.

Located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, Project CityCenter is dramatic in scale. The site is approximately the same size as three major New York City landmarks combined: Rockefeller Center , SoHo and Times Square. As such, Project CityCenter will propel the urbanization of the Las Vegas valley and complement previously announced plans for continuing redevelopment in Downtown Las Vegas.

Reservations are now being taken for three of the four planned luxury condo developments: Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Veer Towers, and the Vdara Condo Hotel. The Residences at the Harmon, will be released later in 2007. The total 2,700 units are expected to be sold within 30 months.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences real estate in Las Vegas, Nevada, designed KPF Architects, will consist of 227 condos above a 400 room hotel. The Luxury condo residences will have access to all the amenities of the Madarin Oriental Hotel. The homes will range from 1,000 sf to 3,900 sf with pricing for the smallest units starts at $1,500 per square foot.

Veer Towers Las Vegas includes two 37-story condo buildings within CityCenter’s entertainment and retail district. Helmut Jahn designed towers each will house 350 condos ranging from 500 sf to 2,600 sf. Amenities include a rooftop entertainment area on each tower that includes a fitness center, infinity pool, spa, cabanas and a patio. Each Veer tower will feature a private valet, a fitness center and steam room, business center and clubroom.

Vdara Condo Hotel Las Vegas, Designed by RV Architecture LLC and Rafael Vinoly, will be the only Las Vegas condo hotel at Project CityCenter Las Vegas. Vdara Las Vegas will have 1,543 condos ranging from 500 square feet to 1,850 square feet. Vdara Las Vegas condo pricing starts at $500,000, about $1,000 per square feet for the smallest units. Amenities and services will include a luxurious pool with cabanas, spa and salon, a 24-hour concierge service, valet parking, fitness center, in-room dining, housekeeping, a destination restaurant, conference and meeting facilities.

The first phase of the project is anticipated to create more than 7,000 construction jobs and, on completion, more than 12,000 new permanent positions. This represents the largest single new employment opportunity in the history of Las Vegas .
