Streamline Tower
A $105 million, 21-story condo high-rise, will be built at the hotel site at Ogden Avenue
and Las Vegas Boulevard. The Streamline Tower will feature 251 residential units and a choice of 13 different floor
plans ranging from 795 to 1,910 square feet. The units are anticipated to be priced from $400,000 to
$900,000.
Streamline Tower is one of six high-rises planned for downtown. Construction already is under way
on the 15-story Soho Lofts at the Strip and Hoover Avenue. The City Council recently approved plans
for the 73-story Summit Residential at the northeast corner of the Strip and Sahara Avenue and the
31-story Renaissance Towers at Iron Horse Court and Grand Central Parkway. A 25-story condo
development at the Strip and Clark Avenue and a 22-story residential tower at 821 S. Casino Center
Boulevard also are in the works.
"The Manhattanization of downtown is well on its way with the groundbreaking of Streamline Tower
and the other high-rise projects planned for downtown," Goodman said. "(Streamline) will be twice the height of City Hall. With these new projects, the downtown skyline will be completely transformed."
"Right now, we are estimating there are more than 20,000 residential units either under construction or
planned for the downtown area," he said. "Downtown is quickly becoming a place where people want
to live because of all the excitement taking place."
